Had their set lunch. Service is great and the food was superb. The pork pluma is very tender. Octopus leg was perfectly executed. Was celebrating a birthday and they gave us a complimentary marquesa de chocolate cake which was one of the best chocolate cake I had. Very happy with the visit! Highly recommended.

Nice ambience! Food may seem a bit pricey but they were reasonably portioned and very yummy! The service staff are prompt and gave very good recommendations to the wine and food. We might have over ordered a bit for 4. On hindsight, I might have kept the set of 5 tapas, skip the paella and instead get 2 or 3 desserts to share.

a week agoNEWThis is such a lovely Spanish restaurant that serves splendid tapas, paella and desserts! I’ve heard great reviews for Esquina for the longest time, and this place does not disappoint ❤️ The people are as lovely as the food, or if not, lovelier – taking the time to explain what made up the dishes, and how best to savour them. Deets in the pics. Everything that we ordered were so delicious. Total damage for two: $130. Will definitely be back to try more tapas, and for the prawn paella

We had a really nice dinner at FOC last night. The place looks lovely with all the lights and the fact that it’s right on the beach makes it special. Service staff is friendly. We got a nice table outside not too far from the pool and the beach. The table was nice and spacious. The truffle fries were okay (we prefer thin fries versus wedges), burrata was on point, the prawns were fresh and flavourful, the squid ink paella was super delicious, the charred octopus was a bit too charred for our liking so we had to return it. The wine was nice, which was the same we had in the other FOC restaurant. Overall it was another memorable dining experience after a fine fun food day.

Great ambience at The Alkaff Mansion. Food was wonderful (If unsure what to order, just ask the staff. They gave us very good recommendations), and the service was excellent. Being a Spanish restaurant, the must have is the Paella (their signature one). We were there to celebrate a birthday, and they gave us a free slice of birthday cake, which was a very tasty burnt cheesecake. All in all, we had a wonderful time at Una, and will certainly return there to taste the rest of the menu.

Our squid ink paella! Vibes and ambience were on point – the breeze, view and pace of Quayside Isle made for a welcomed breather from the city’s frenetic pace. Al fresco is the way to go. Service was attentive and friendly. The food was v reasonable for its quality, and portion sizes quite generous too. All in all, great experience at Sabio. Would definitely recommend Sabio for a date night.

The Singaporean outpost of the one Michelin-starred eatery in Barcelona, led by celebrity chef Carles Gaig, is located here. The restaurant at Tanjong Pagar isn’t stuffy or pretentious; instead, it’s warm and inviting. The unusual Cannelloni from La Giogaig ($16.50), a pasta dish with pork and foie gras encased in a creamy truffle sauce, is one of the restaurant’s most famous dishes. It’s a family recipe that has been passed down for more than 170 years.

The mains include a black squid ink and seafood Fideuà ($32.50), which is packed with umami ocean tastes. The Michelin-starred chef tries to visit his Singapore restaurant at least twice a year, so if you’re in town during those times, expect seasonal dishes on the menu.

10 months agoVery delicious and well priced (for a relatively upscale place). We’ll definitely come back.
Enjoyed every dish, but the The ox tail paella was a revelation. So much umami!
Many nice restaurants will disappoint with their deserts, but the two that we had here were very well done. Not overly sweet, not a confusing amalgamation of flavours, not too experimental.

Had a birthday dinner celebration here and it was awesome! The hostess was very attentive, changed our table to a more kids friendly when she knew we had a kid coming. The sangria was great, not too sweet. All the foods were delicious, only the padron peppers were too salty. We also had a comp cake from the team which was very much appreciated. We will be back

Your trip to Ola Cocina Del Mar isn’t only about the cuisine. The kitchen at this Spanish eatery in Singapore is seen as the restaurant’s heart. That means you’ll be able to observe how chefs sauté and flambé their way around the burner. The restaurant’s name, which is derived from the owner’s first name, hints at its culinary focus. Seafood is the main speciality, with a heavy emphasis on fresh seasonal produce. Catch of the day paella, suckling pig, and Spanish pork jowl are among the standout dishes. Don’t go crazy though; save room for churros with warm chocolate sauce and tres leches cake with pineapple compote.

Worth a visit.. very accommodating staff, good selection, great quality. I found the small dishes to be the most flavorful, interesting, and of good value — the scrambled eggs iberico ham comes at the top of my list. They also have an extensive list of drinks which would require another visit, but the Old Fashioned was done nicely with strong and pleasant smoky, sweet, mild citrus flavors.

F1rst Grill Gastronomic – Spanish Restaurant Singapore (Credit: F1rst Grill Gastronomic)

The F1rst Grill, which opened in June 2019, is one of the many restaurants that prepare your favorite zi char meals in a charcoal-grilled oven. The restaurant has several storefronts, which might be confusing. This is the front of the restaurant (not the dessert stand).

Jay, William, and Jeff set out to open an exceptional American diner utilizing the strengths of their expertise in hospitality. They were previously employed at a Spanish restaurant, and they discovered firsthand how the Josper charcoal oven from Spain enhanced the flavor of food and the Spanish gastronomy by adding a smoky depth to it.

They were inspired by their family’s traditional cooking methods, which they wanted to adapt the modern cooking techniques. Despite the fact that the three individuals intended to start their own Western stall, they opted for an Asian flavor profile by utilizing the charcoal oven in their recipes.

The Olivia Restaurant’s wine list has a decent selection of wines. They begin at around $90 per bottle and go up to about $100 or more. Spanish wines are common in the list as one would anticipate in a Spanish restaurant. Here are photos of some samples from the Olivia Restaurant’s wine menu.

Moosehead - Spanish Restaurant Singapore (Credit: Moosehead)
Moosehead – Spanish Restaurant Singapore (Credit: Moosehead)

Moosehead Kitchen-Bar, located near Telok Ayer Road’s edge, is the brainchild of Glen and Daniel Ballis, along with Chef Manuel Valero Ruiz. The restaurant bar serves lunch and dinner menus inspired by their travels; by night it transforms into an effortlessly cosy bar, featuring a selection of exotic and craft beers.

Don’t be fooled by the modest shopfront, however. Its interior includes more intricate features: a mish-mash of global cuisines and odd renovated furnishings.

The greatest approach to enjoy everything on the plate is to order and share it like you would at a tapas bar. Everyone may sample a little of everything this way. Moosehead’s menu varies frequently to keep things fresh, but some traditional dishes include grilled octopus and beef onglet.

Was recommended this place, and it didn’t fail. Through the reviews and recommendation, we tried the ravioli and burger. Ordered the roasted cauliflower as well. Basically everything on the menu looks worth a try. The roasted cauliflower is really quite exceptional and the burger is succulent. The ravioli has a really interesting taste which springs some familiarity yet quite unable to pinpoint what is it. Didn’t get to try the dates though it seems really good. Need to be back for more.

Tapas 24 has long been drawing large crowds since it began in 2006, and its petite plates have helped to make it a culinary destination for locals and tourists. The first Asia outlet of this much-loved restaurant may now be found along the breezy banks of Robertson Quay. A simple supper of a hearty soup might be had with some cold images of Andalusian Gazpacho, which is blended with Roma tomatoes; and tiny pieces of Pan Con Tomate, where the cracks in the thick Catalonian coca bread help to retain pockets of oil and juicy fruit.

Pepe Moncayo’s Tapas reinvents Spanish cuisine with Japanese tastes and aromas, and is served with sake on a roller coaster ride that you won’t soon forget. It’s an omakase-only restaurant where the chef creates four courses for about $98, plus any drinks you want to complement your meal.

Shiso leaf tempura is one of the most popular items on the menu. DISHES The shiso leaf tempura is a seasonal dish that changes frequently, but it’s worth seeking out. A smear of tomato tartare is sandwiched between shiso leaves, which are then deep-fried and seasoned with a touch of Japanese herbal zing.

Pim Pam’s airy, holiday mood is enhanced by floor-to-ceiling windows and brightly colored decorations. With chef Jordi Noguera’s cuisine being flawless, and Pim Pam billed as a gastobodega with a contemporary slant on Spanish and Catalan flavours, surprises abound at every turn. Another feather in their cap: Pim Pam now has the most sherry selections in Southeast Asia, and tasting flights start at $30 per four glasses.

For a lighter dish, there’s the lovely Patatas Bravas ($6). This deconstructed version is a flavor explosion because it’s made from thin slices of potato stacked millefeuille-style and deep-fried.

Had a lovely birthday party for 11 seated outside facing the river. Food was just above average, but the cava and the atmosphere were both wonderful. The evening vibe along the river is truly quite special. The attentive and vivacious staff really went out of their way to make it a memorable evening for us – many thanks to Dayah, Erica, Sab and Shima for all their boundless energy and especially the birthday song! We had a great time and will be back.

36. Armoury

Armoury - Spanish Restaurant Singapore (Credit: Armoury)
Armoury – Spanish Restaurant Singapore (Credit: Armoury)

The oldest tenant at South Beach is Armoury. Armoury is still around, despite the fact that many F&B businesses have come and gone. They’ve added 15 taps to serve craft beers from local and international breweries. Everything is geared to accommodate and serve the laid-back, sociable community of people who work in South Beach Tower, Suntec City, Millenia Walk, Raffles City, and surrounding office buildings in Bugis.

In 2017, they had a growth hack when they launched the legendary STEAK BUFFET – free flow of Ribeye and a variety of other side dishes for $33. The restaurant bar was the main reason for their existence, therefore they decided to do a steak buffet as a pop up to raise awareness about it.
