I also noticed they have a new item on the day we went: Black Pepper Udon, am impressed as it was silky and not overly strong from the black pepper! Overall, I prefer Captain Kim to Seoul Garden. We spent $32 per pax on a weekday night at 7 PM, very reasonable as you can fill your tummy to the brim.

The ambiance in BORNGA is simple and spacious with both indoor and outdoor sittings. The suctioned interior area offers a smell-free environment, unlike the outdoor sitting which is hot and without any suctions so be prepared to go home with a greasy smell.
Even though their menu is not very diverse, they serve meat of top quality. They even offer prawns for an extra $22 (specialty dish). Though not as large as tiger prawns, the prawns were well marinated and prepared to perfection when they were BBQ-ed.

Singapore is home to many delicious Korean barbecue restaurants, and this one was no exception.
A place where the local Koreans flock to, no doubt that their food is authentic and traditional. Upon entering Han Kook Gwan restaurant, you will observed that the customers are mostly middle-aged Koreans. They were all speaking very loudly in Korean so if you’re looking for an ideal place for business meetings, this definitely would not make it. However, the restaurant does offer quite dim lighting for couples to enjoy a romantic meal.

Located in a newer mall this Korean BBQ restaurant, KKONG DON BARBEQUE has a modern interior. With brightly coloured décor, upbeat music and even television screens displaying Korean songs it seems the perfect place for younger crowds.
Though the space is limited, this restaurant can be a suitable location for groups of friends and families looking to have some quality time.
Good place to chill and have a good time as the service can get really slow when it gets busy. The upside is that many students study nearby, so the BBQ sets sold are at an affordable price.
Customer Review
Reasonable price from 9.90-12++ for the lunch special that comes with free flow of kimchi from the ‘kimchi’ bar. I tried the kimchi ramien that really spice me up. A good choice if you want to avoid the lunch crowd.

Hello Korean BBQ is a restaurant that specializes in authentic Korean food. It has two outlets in Singapore, one at Boat Quay and the other at Tanjung Pagar. Staff are attentive when it comes to taking your order and serve promptly.
Their latest branch in Tanjong Pagar has a beautiful interior design with a modern twist. Their most famous dish is their samgyeopsal, which was first cooked up by their grandfather way back in the day when he was a butcher.
Their Boat Quay branch is often praised for its affordability, providing great quality food at a reasonable price point. The food still tastes authentic and delicious!

One of Singapore’s best KBBQ brands, I’m KIM Korean barbecue offers a wide selection of dishes for $14.90 or less. They take pride in their signature volcano chicken -named aptly because it is fiery hot-, spicy pork collar, and Korean fried chicken wings that are hard to find elsewhere.
This restaurant does not skimp on side dishes, providing delicious options like kimchi fried rice, japchae and tteokbokki in between platefuls of barbecue.
When you dine here, the staff is attentive and friendly – they provide great advice for diners who are new to Korean-style grilling.
Customer Review
Lots of meat and cooked food options. Among my favorites were the wings, korean pancake, prime beef ribs, Korean style raw beef, tteokbokki. Food is served on your table so not able to choose which part we want. We had a reservation on Saturday lunch which is a good thing cause the restaurant was packed. Good value for money if you are a heavy eater.

Not all top quality Korean barbecue restaurants are in Tanjong Pagar. Jangsu Korean barbecue can be found in the row of shophouses at Teck Chye Terrace at Serangoon. This Korean restaurant is run by a Korean couple and Chef Park.
They use 100% aged meat, which is the result of very tender and juicy slices. The marinade they use also sets them apart, since most of their meats are flavorfully seasoned.
Customer Review
Cosy, nice and authentic Korean restaurant. The staff is very friendly and he helped to cook korean bbq buffet. Ordered set B and Chajang noodles. Taste is great, I love their appetisers plates. Their food is nicely seasoned and not too salty. Reservations is recommended for dinners and weekend lunch. Good value.

Although Ju Shin Jung still offers the traditional floor and mat/cushion seating area, Chang is another Korean barbecue restaurant in Singapore with this type of seating.
The restaurant was extremely crowded on a Friday night. Reserving in advance is recommended to avoid the long wait times without a reservation. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The ambiance is quite different outside, with a quieter atmosphere for couples to date. However, inside the restaurant can be noisy since it often gets crowded with guests.
Customer Review
I will definitely come back again!!! Their food is Soooo nice!!! Ambience, service and food quality is really worth the price (and my calorie)! The boss was also very friendly and generous to share how they made their salad!!

Seorae Koran Charcoal barbecue, opened its first restaurant in South Korea in April 2007. One of the signature dishes at this restaurant is La Galbi (S$29.90), US prime beef short-ribs cut across the bones.
Customer Review
I recommend to eat the meat straight off the grill while it’s still hot to enjoy the tender and prime cut in all it’s glory. Their thick and chewy pancake had a crispy exterior, with a fluffy mochi-like interior. Their bouncy and chewy japchae is a great accompaniment to the grilled meats.
I had a satisfying hearty meal here.

Really good marinated beef and chicken and pork oppa korean bbq buffet!!! Put the mushrooms at the edges so that the sauce will flow to them and makes the mushroom really tasty! Customer Review
Simply put: good food at a good price. One of the best Korean BBQ buffets I’ve had. No need to break the bank here for decent quality meat. Marinades are done well: flavourful and yet, light. Even the japchae is one of the best I’ve had, even among paid korean restaurants. Run by a Korean couple, taste is really authentic.
Minor gripes: the pan has certain hot spots, so some management is needed to get a nice sear on big pieces of meat. Also, it’s a small place run by a korean couple and a helper, so service can be a little slow. English isn’t the lady’s strongest language so please give them some patience.

The restaurant also has DIY samgyeopsal (pork belly), but the price is higher at $18 instead of $14.90.
Customer Review
The variety of food choices plus superb customer service is highly commendable for this Korean buffet restaurant. If you’re a kpop fan, this is a place you need to try out. Especially when songs are played while you enjoy sumptuous feast.

Operating Hours | Monday: 12pm to 3am l Tuesday-Sunday 10am to 3am |
Located in a corner along Tanjong Pagar Road, Guiga Korean barbecue restaurant has more customers than their counterparts even though they are less established. This could be due to the huge signboard which is brightly colored and draws people’s attention.
The restaurant’s interior is bright and their environment is tranquil. All tables have suctions installed, which perform well.
They only offer individual portions of Korean barbecue meats, and not a buffet option to choose variety of food. The food serving was generous, but the quality and marination was average. Compared to the price of the set meals, you would rather prefer to pay more for a buffet at 2D1N.
While their barbecue meat is well-received, the appetizers at this restaurant is to be much more memorable. One must-try dish is their egg roll; it was wonderful but unfortunately though, it gets sold out quickly.

If you’re looking for affordable Korean barbecue, Maru Korean barbecue is a must visit. It offers unlimited food refills and has plenty for vegetarians at their buffet line. This is the Korean BBQ Singapore restaurant for you if you’re looking to dine with your family, as they are very accommodating to kids and seniors.
If you don’t like the buffet, there is a perfect alternative. Maru korean bbq buffet also offers BBQ cooked in front of your eyes with your desired meat to pick. Do not forget to ask for unmarinated meats as they are not available at the buffet line.
The meat quality is good. If you’re not a Korean barbecue regular, the meat might taste sweeter than what they are used to. The vegetables are fresh but some reviews say that they were under seasoned.

BBQ World has a buffet, similar to that of the other Korean barbecue restaurants. However, they have also set up separate plates for side dishes, meats and ginseng chicken soup; customers can take whatever they want.
All dishes are cooked table-side and customers cook their own meats. Staff members only approach you to take orders, refill your water or change the grill plates when you asked for it.
The service provided at this restaurant is nothing spectacular. You had to wait or walk up to request food because most of the staff were back in the kitchen for a long time.
Their appetizers lacked taste, with bland kimchi soup and Korean rice cakes.
Customer Review
Tender meat and perfect Korean barbecue. Plenty of choice to choose from all you can eat buffet. Place is quite cosy. Staff is helpfull and ready to help you. Price is very reasonable.

Another KBBQ restaurant to visit. Mul Gogi Korean barbecue, a new charcoal Korean BBQ Tanjong Pagar serving water-aged meats, seafood bean paste stew, and sides, is located just down the road from ANJU. While Mul Gogi Korean bbq usually means fish in Korean, the restaurant uses it as a pun since they age their meat in water.
