Ambience was excellent, food was great. My wife and I shared a 400g steak and they were done perfectly. We reserved online and the dessert was on promotion for online bookings. Please order the dessert, you wonā€™t regret it!!

Oh, and the restaurant is located in an old shop house and they retained the Chinese signboards above the restaurant. So, if you see the Chinese signboards, donā€™t worry, that means youā€™re in the right place!!

Weā€™ve been going here for many years. The service is nice and the food is good. I really like their pizzas: very authentic with a nice range of toppings and way better than what youā€™d get at any of the chain places. The starters are nice, as are their steak dishes, which are good for sharing. They also have nice desserts. There is also a discount for take-away orders.

One of favourite izakaya place and been a regular here for years, esp for their skewers. Always done nicely, not too salty or under salty and grilled to perfection. What i like is the pace of which the dishes come out, its paced such that none of the dish will turn cold. Recommend their yuzu drink as well if youā€™re not into sake.

A popular breakfast place, lucky to be able to get a table in a short time. The portion is reasonably generous. Customisable meal choices with various add ons. As mentioned, they are not stingy. The brioche bread was impressive for me. Soft and fluffy! Scrambled eggs are a treat and mushrooms has a wild nature taste that day. The smike salmon is done perfectly, blended well with the rest of the items, not too salty.

Ordered a single bean coffee, fragrant!

Great hospitality and very courteous staff. We were a group of 3 friends and had a great time.

Being vegeterian, they customized some of their dishes for us. The smoked burratina was average (customized by adding mixed veg salad instead of meat ā€“ is avoidable) but the pasta we ordered was good. Tiramisu was excellent and completely responsible for my current rating.

The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. You might think youā€™re at a lovely cafĆ© in France with a beautiful patio overlooking the Singapore River, as well as rustic French bistro cuisine. Escargot drowned in garlic butter, various charcuterie, and bone marrow on toast are among the starters.

For mains, the Sirloin Steak with free-flow handmade French fries and a bottle of extremely inexpensive house wine is hard to beat.

Key Differentiators

  • Showcasing classic French cuisine
  • Quality steak frites
  • Robust flavours and textures

Customer Testimonial

Nice cosy relaxing atmosphere and friendly staffs. Sirloin Steaks being the favourite, taste the best with a combination of burnt, beef fats and texture, but need some patient and skill to cut it with the knife and fork. Salmon is done just right retaining the juice and between medium and well done texture. Giant prawns is well cooked and can be mistaken for lobster meat. Wine may be restaurant priced like double but is a really nice for all drinker.
Recommended.
