Since its inception in 2012, this cafe has been a favorite among coffee enthusiasts. The iced cereal milk latte is fantastic, as Ryan Kieran Tan, the cafe’s owner, and three-time Singapore National Barista Champion, has won the Singapore National Barista Championship three times.

His enthusiasm for coffee has seeped down to his team of baristas, and they have gone on to win accolades of their own — one is a semi-finalist at the World Barista Championship 2018 and another is a three-time Singapore Latte Art Champion. After a brief apprenticeship in a Dutch company, Mirandolle & Voute, Tan Tiong Hoe started Tiong Hoe & Co, a coffee business, in the 1960s. He began by knocking on doors to sell his black coffee, but as his company grew, he started supplying it to hotels, restaurants, and ship chandlers.
