It’s a popular Malaysian Local food, its very delicious and filling so after a day of walking around the mall, this would be my go to dinner. Otherwise, the Weng Kee BBQ pork noodles are also very good too! Most food here are based on local delicacies, and I highly recommend this place!

Beef noodles, roasted pork, and Char Kuey Teow are just three of the items you should not miss out on if you visit Lai Foong Beef Noodle Restaurant KL. These are the three most popular stalls that attract a large number of visitors, and there’s a good reason for it.
An elderly uncle prepares the Char Kuey Teow in an excellent manner. Each plate that emerges from that wok is packed with flavor and smokiness, as well as a crisp crunch from the beansprout and prawns. The usage of noodles, as it’s a combination of both yellow and flat noodles, is the distinction between his Char Kuey Teow and others.

The ambience is a great deal nicer than the ones you’ll discover below, but with comfort comes a hefty premium – twice as much as what you’d pay in a regular hawker stall. Nonetheless, Sisters Kopitiam’s char kuey teow is still great – one of the greatest halal options in town.

Here, you’ll discover all you need, including basic chicken rice and economy rice, egg tarts, and char kuey teow. It’s also a wonderful spot to grab lunch, especially for office workers. However, the terrible parking may be a downer. The flavor is comparable to other char kuey teow dishes; it has a wonderful depth of smokiness, an excellent texture balance, and a reasonable price tag. It’s still quite delicious, though.

9. Mali’s Corner
Key Services | Char Kway Teow Spot, Restaurant |
Website | https://www.facebook.com/maliscorner71 |
Address | Platinum Walk, 2, Jalan Langkawi, Setapak, 53100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia |
Mali’s began as a little roadside stand before developing into a full restaurant that occupies three store lots. Since 1997, the location has been in operation.
The restaurant, which offers only two types of food – nasi lemak and char kway teow, as well as beverages, and the idea of self-service to clients, continues to thrive and expand. The char kway teow has received numerous accolades, including being recognized as the greatest in KL by several blog articles.
The noodles are cooked in a rich brown sauce with sliced chilies and served in a large earthenware pot. It’s all due to the prawns, which the restaurant appears to be generous with, that the gravy has a smoky and fishy aftertaste.
Key Differentiators:
- Serves best Nasi Lemak and Char Kuey Teow
- Fast Service
- Cozy atmosphere
Customer’s Review:
One of the best Char Kuey Teow in town. It was, it still, & it will be the best in town. They managed to keep the quality of the food & the service is still quick & friendly. The only downside of this place is the crowd. You have to fight for table to be seated.
