1. The Silent Hero

The Silent Hero is the kind of person that performs their duties without truly claiming accomplishment. Nevertheless, this coworker is a crucial member of your team. He just likes to keep a low profile. Every day, the Silent Hero will strive to be his best. This individual resembles a winner in all aspects. Frequently disregarded but crucial.

2. The Planner

The planner coordinates all team activities, including team-building activities, outings, and other activities that take place outside of (or even inside of) the workplace. Most likely, he is the one who is most knowledgeable about the most recent TikTok craze to engage in with coworkers or the swankiest cafes and restaurants to hang out with after work.

3. The Friend

These people are helpful and friendly. Being with them is pleasant since they are so encouraging and inspiring. Most people encounter at least one coworker who becomes a friend.

Being with him makes you joyful, asking for his assistance makes challenging assignments simpler, and talking to him after a challenging day at work is consoling. He is a trustworthy person.

4. The Boss’s Favorite:

A “yes-man” to the boss is the favored employee of the boss. This coworker makes an excessive effort to win over the management and delight the boss. They become subservient to their bosses, whether it’s to receive a promotion or a wage raise.

5. The Veteran

No, there isn’t a statue of the Veteran in the dining area of the workplace. But this coworker has worked for your company for a very long period. He will undoubtedly occasionally be there to remind you of this, and so will your coworkers.

Do you want to learn more about the company’s beginnings or its past? The Veteran is the best person to ask, as you probably already knew. Don’t forget to include this coworker in discussions and decision-making on a daily basis so that he doesn’t feel excluded.

6. The Complainer

No matter how tiny or how large the task is, they need something to complain about, either in their personal or professional lives. They will undoubtedly choose something and keep harping on about it.

When they have less work, they complain, and when they have too much, they become miserable. They always experience failure in life and enjoy complaining about everything.

7. The Workhorse

There are some employees who never take vacation time. Perhaps they enjoy what they do, or perhaps they are bored. They don’t miss a single day of work and take their jobs a little too seriously. They consider being absent a crime and take pride in the fact that they have never missed a day of work.

8. The Crib Master

This type of coworker will constantly complain and gripe. Crib masters act as though the world owes them something, with a cranky visage and a permanent frown on the forehead. It’s recommended to avoid such people if you don’t want to be around negativity.

9. The Gossip

Have you heard what transpired in the meeting regarding X? “, “Are you sure they want to let people go? Are those two genuinely dating each other? ”. The Gossip is more than delighted to respond to any of your inquiries. Some people enjoy making up startling tales, while others prefer to tell entertaining ones.

10. The Thief

They frequently steal things from others because they don’t own anything. Additionally, you might never get anything back if you lend it to them. They steal office supplies and stationery. They treat the company’s property as if it were their own. Some people steal everything, including coffee or toilet paper. And in the worst circumstances, you can come across people who steal your money.

11. The Freeloaders

Every office has its own version of freeloaders who love to unfairly take advantage of the company’s policies and benefits and are also experts at taking credit for other people’s work. Examples include eating up all the pantry snacks, hoarding stationery and tea bags, and constantly helping themselves to the free coffee and food.

12. The Ally

Both during and after business hours, think of the Ally as a friend. This coworker can play a variety of functions, including someone you can talk to, confide in, or who helps you get through tough times. An Ally is similar to a BFF.

13. The Newbie

The Newbie may be a fresh graduate or another someone who just started working for the company.

Do you recall the awkwardness of your own beginnings? It’s time to volunteer to serve as a mentor. If necessary, take this person under your wing and treat each day as an opportunity to learn. Your new coworker will be really appreciative.

Types Of Co-Workers

All in all, there are many different types of co-workers you’re likely to encounter in the office.
