Din Tai Fung never fails to deliver on quality. Loved the contactless queue system and ability to preorder. The robot that showed us to our table was pretty cool too. But the real reason to go is the dumplings, especially the xiaolongbao (soup dumplings).

In season, they also have chili crab and pork dumplings which are phenomenal. The hot and sour soup is non-dumpling gem on the menu, along with the steamed pork buns. It’s hard to go wrong, no matter what you get. Highly recommended.

Large seating area with plenty of space.
Glutinous rice is a mushy, flavorful rice. The porridge was particularly good on the day I visited. The service is simple and homely.

I didn’t get to order the Egg Tart as I would think it is overpriced for 3 small tarts.

Very impressed at the food quality for a chain establishment. The restaurant serves great quality chinese food that anyone would appreciate at reasonable prices. The duck and roast pork was done really well, and lean cuts were used.

The deep fried tofu was also fried to perfection, the skin being crisp yet thin. Also; the shrimp roe noodles were flavourful without being salty, serving as a accompaniment for the rest of the dishes ordered.
