Walking by and she was closing up. Still offered bahn mi. So great service off the bat. Now the roll, I ordered the classic. And it was perfect, a classic pork roll did well, perfect filling amount, and absolutely delicious. The bread has the optimal crunch to chew ratio. Well done.

One of my favourite banh mi spots in Sydney. The banh mi are proportionately filled (not under stuffed nor overflowing so that it falls apart) and the rolls seldom go soggy compared to other places who either soak their veggies in too much pickling liquid or drown the banh mi with too much soy sauce. Highly recommend the original pork roll but, as with many banh mi places now, the roast pork roll is also a winner.

Simple unassuming space. really loved my Banh mi with beef tongue though they still gave me chilli when I asked it to be left off (easily fixed) the Vietnamese iced coffee was tasty, they very nicely let me have a 3 piece serve of the pigs head nuggets which are very moreish. The days special was crispy pork trotter with a salt and vinegar butter. Super rich, could have been more vinegary for my tastes but it’s served with a lemon wedge so it can be adjusted. definitely will be back for the Banh Xeo and to try the soup.

The establishment is Hong Ha, it’s been around for 30 years, and it would be hard to find if not for the line of people permanently snaking out the door. Fortunately, they have things under control. Longtime business The Hot Bread Shop is a straightforward institution since 1989. With a price of $4, it’s one of the most reasonably priced in the city. What sells it, though, is the pâté’s texture, which oozes gently throughout the roll with each bite. A helpful hint? Request more.

Our go to for pork rolls in Cabramatta. 2 for $8 or 4 for $15. Can’t beat the price. A slightly heavier pickle for the vegetables and less heavy in the pate and butter. Bread fresh and crunchy. Photo taken a few hours after we purchased.
