The North Bondi area, which includes Rocker, may be ideal on a sunny summer’s day, but it’s even more appealing during the colder months (fewer people being the most obvious benefit). So get in your jammies and head to Rocker on a dark winter’s night. Vegetarians will be treated to crackling-heavy rolled porchetta, wagyu beef, or roasted pumpkin in addition to the traditional vegetables like potatoes, peas, and Yorkshire puddings.

Key Differentiators:

  • Sells picnic pack
  • Offer a twist on your classic Mexican feast
  • Two minute walk from North Bondi Beach

Customer’s Review:

Overall had a good night here, the potatoes were lovely and sardines were delicious. Quite pricey for the portion sizes, I was hungry later on in the evening and the cost was $100 a head. Service could have been improved too. The spot is lovely in Bondi as it has ocean views and the decor is nice inside.

The Glebe Hotel is a character-filled, dog-friendly pub in the Inner West’s backstreets that provides a lovely place to unwind with a hot cup of soup during the cold winter months. While all of the food at The Glebe Hotel is incredible—we’re talking beef and Guinness pie, house-made gnocchi with wild mushrooms, and bangers and mash, for example—you can’t beat their enormous Sunday roast. On Sundays, just two roast choices are available, which change every week.

Pretty classy atmosphere for a pub in the heart of Surry Hills. I had the cheeseburger and it was so good – I’d say probably top 3 burgers I’ve ever had. The sauce was so delicious and meat was well seasoned and had a good thickness. The patty was also quite light and fresh.

Creamed leeks, mashed swede and broccoli, and fried brussel sprouts accompany the medium-rare beef slices. One of the best. Whether it’s with a bunch of friends, our kids, or both, the staff are always above and beyond friendly and accommodating. Great beers, even better wine list, and the Schnity lives up to the hype.
