Wow! A Tavola was a surprise and delight. I received a surprise delivery from the restaurant as a gift from a friend and was absolutely delighted by the freshness and taste of everything included. There was also, easy to follow, step-by-step instructions on how to prepare each dish which the whole family was happy to get involved in. We dined at Altitude twice during our staycation. Once was for High Tea with just our little family – the views were spectacular as we were seated by the window and the food delectable, and the other time was for the three course dinner with extended family – sadly the window-seat option for dinner would have cost a pretty penny but the views were still amazing where we were sitting, the food was delicious, and our main waiter was great (my apologies as I didn’t quite catch your name)!

Despite its hidden location and unassuming exterior, Black Bar & Grill is one of the most romantic restaurants we have visited. Last year we were lucky enough to discover it mid-way through our trip and were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the setting was, as well as the impressive wine list and delicious steak. This Valentine’s Day they are offering a special seafood menu including fresh oysters, prawns, Wagyu with chimichurri lobster grilled flat bean salad and chocolate delice – all of which sound amazing!

Absolutely phenomenal! The food, the ambiance and the service were incredible! Even though BLACK is a steakhouse they catered for a vegetarian who was at our table. We also had another person who doesn’t enjoy eating steak but changed their mind when they tasted the steak BLACK offered.
