We went there as a family to have some crepes. Kids were happy and seemed to enjoy the crepes and their fillings. I had ice cream which was very nice (blueberry pana Cotta) I tried a bite of one of the crepes which was nice but the crepe pastry itself was a little dry. Over all good and staff were polite and efficient.

A Sydney night isn’t complete until you’ve stopped at Kürtősh to pick up a Cinnamon Chimney Cake on the way home. The name for this traditional Hungarian pastry comes from its similarity to a chimney cake, and it’s become quite popular in the Sydney dessert scene. You can find these delicious treats at various locations around town, where they’re fresh out of the oven and just begging to be devoured! If you haven’t had one yet, do yourself a favor and give it a try tonight.

Good coffee and interesting selection of cakes and pastries. I’m slowly making my way through them all but sour cherry crumble is my favourite so far- amazing extrude and it’s not super sweet. They also do a few savoury pastries.

Reservations from 12pm to 3.30pm

Bennelong, Gilmore’s other haute cuisine restaurant located at the Sydney Opera House, has undoubtedly become better than its predecessor when it comes to dessert. The pavlova is a masterpiece- taking classic Australiana and aligning it with the level of sophistication you would expect from such an upscale eatery. Although, I must say that the cherry jam lamington dessert is just as delectable.

Key Differentiators:

  • Renowned fine dining destination
  • Iconic setting
  • Unbeatable ambiance and views

Customer’s Review:

A great experience in a stunning location. We tried most of the dishes between the four of us and they were all as good as you would expect.

Operating HoursLunch

Wed – Sun: 6pm – late

A Tavola in Darlinghurst serves up what is easily one of the best desserts in Sydney with the kitchen’s delicately layered cremino al cioccolato. It’s proportioned perfectly to arrive at the end of the meal, small and concise, but rich and satisfying enough to justify the $18 ask. I’ve had a few meals at A Tavola that were kind of average, but as long as you’ve got this bad boy coming at you in the closing minutes, it’s hard to walk out disappointed.

Key Differentiators:

  • Simple, honest and traditional style dishes
  • Rich and satisfying
  • Delicately layered cremino al cioccolato

Customer’s Review:

Pasta was beautiful – and we couldn’t get enough of their house baked focaccia. Dont skip the dessert, its so fluffy and tangy!

When it comes to the finest dessert places in Sydney, don’t overlook Town Hall. This city-center steakhouse, which is housed in QT Sydney’s darkly theatrical building, shouldn’t be overlooked when looking for the best desserts in Sydney. It’s largely due to Chef Harry Tagg’s pitch-perfect $19 cheesecake. Of course, it is done in homage to the quintessential New York dessert, with a cake that is perfectly textured, smooth and silky to help you wind down with more than just a little sugar at the end of the night. A cheesecake finale that leaves nothing to be desired

Key Differentiators:

  • European brasserie food and wine
  • Contemporary space
  • With a wood-fired rotisserie and bar

Customer’s Review:

We arrived in Sydney and are staying at QT. With not having much breakfast because of our early flight we decided to treat ourselves to Gowing which is the fine dining restaurant inside the hotel on the 1st Floor.

17) Parlour Cucina

Key ServiceBustling bar & cafe
Address49 Market Street, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia
Websitehttps://www.qthotels.com/sydney-cbd/eat-drink/parlour-cucina/
Phone02 8262 0000
Operating HoursMonday – Friday
6.30am until 10pm
Saturday and Sunday
7am until 10pm

The choice for us here is obvious: go down to William Street and eat at Paddington’s restaurant. The tiramisu at Parlour Cucina, on Market Street, is an underdog worth rooting for. Parlour Cucina’s $14 “tiramisu 1988,” which is prepared according to Nic Wood’s family recipe and served at QT Perth’s Santini Bar & Grill, is stunning. You can’t expect it to be that wonderful; that’s precisely why it succeeds so well.

Key Differentiators:

  • With lavish, old-timey decor
  • Offering sandwiches, salads & bar snacks
  • Must-try tiramisu 1988 dessert

Customer’s Review:

I love coming here for business meetings with clients. The ambience is very unique and a nice change of pace from the “regular” coffee nights around town.

Operating HoursLunch

Friday – Sunday
5pm – late

Nomad’s Jacqui Challinor is impossible to dislike. The Surry Hills restaurant still holds the top spot in Sydney’s dining scene, and its legendary dessert has a lot to do with it. The $95 per person banquet menu is the best approach to visit Nomad, which starts with wood-fired flatbread and ends with the indisputable olive oil ice cream sandwich with halva, pistachio, and honey. It’s one of Sydney’s most renowned desserts and something everyone should eat at least once in their life.

Key Differentiators:

  • Offering a $95 per person banquet menu
  • With wood-fired flatbread as one of the dishes
  • Famous dessert: olive oil ice cream sandwich with halva, pistachio, and honey

Customer’s Review:

Out of all the restaurants I’ve been to in Aus this year, this is my favourite. Go for the feast menu, while it is a little bit expensive, it’s absolutely worth it ($95 per head). They’ve also got a great drinks menu too. All the food was delicious and the staff were great. Definitely recommend and thank you Nomad for the great experience.

Key ServiceArtisanal gelato dessert
Address84 Ramsay Rd, Five Dock NSW 2046, Australia
Websitehttps://www.cremeria-deluca.com/

Cremeria de Luca is one of Sydney’s best gelato shops and a go-to for the city’s finest sweets. This Five Dock kitchen, which employs insulated pots to maintain gelato at the ideal temperature (12 degrees) all day, has three generations of gelato production flowing through it. Not many individuals are aware of how crucial this ideal temperature is until they sample some of that gelato with their tongues.

Key Differentiators:

  • Cheery, family-owned shop
  • With rustic decor
  • Known for its ice cream burger

Customer’s Review:

Almond cake, I appreciate having the opportunity to sample this dessert. Great experience.

Emailinfo@lheritage.comau
Operating HoursMON-TUES CLOSED
WED-SUN 11:30-3:3OPM
WED-SUN 5:30-10PM

Although L’Heritage is new to the Sydney restaurant scene, it has rapidly become one of the most popular date night spots. The former army drill hall has been utterly transformed into a beautifully romantic French bistro in Chowder Bay. Of course, a beautiful décor is nothing without flawless French cuisine, and the savory courses are worth your time, but what stands out here is the $16 fondant au chocolate, which is simply served with vanilla gelato.

Key Differentiators:

  • Super helpful and friendly
  • Wide range of cocktails
  • French restaurant

Customer’s Review:

It’s such a good restaurant. The food is good and staffs are helpful and welcoming. The cocktails are perfecto. Not even mention the great bay view when you dine in. It’s a good choice to celebrate anniversary or events here.
