We have been couple of times to this restaurant and has been a great experience. The small dishes are great and are good portions good for sharing especially halloumi and beef tacos. The cocktails are also great along with mains. The portions of mains are not very huge but good for one person. Overall it has great food & ambience. Highly recommend this place.

Fonda, a Melbourne-based restaurant chain known for its fresh Mexican food, has opened a location at Bondi beach. Tim McDonald and Dave You, the founders of Fonda, envisioned a restaurant that would serve simple, lovingly made Mexican dishes. Rosa Cienfuegos not only offers excellent Mexican food, but they also have two locations–one in Redfern and Dulwich Hill. The former is a nicer representation of fine dining while the latter has more casual options that are served faster. Handmade with corn husks, chicken, and salsa verde; these little gems will make you feel like you’re transported to Oaxaca!

The staff is very nice and the courtyard area is a beautiful little space to enjoy it. The retractable roof on the courtyard so doesn’t worry about being exposed to the elements.
