Unassuming blue wall tucked in the corner of Ann Siang road but probably serves one of the best pizzas in Singapore.

Great ambience, wings were good, Brussels sprouts salad was refreshing and different, but the star of the night definitely the pizza.
We had the green machine which was . Only regret is that there were only 2 of us so we couldn’t try the other flavors.

The staff was really nice too! They gave me free pickles when I said i liked them cos the pickles were great and I’m not usually a pickle person.

My first visit to this quaint little spot on Sat for dinner with my wife. Enjoyed every moment of the ambience, the set-up, the service, the personal attention & of course, the food & drinks.
All tables were taken; sure shot indicator of the popularity. The old style place was long & narrow, but never felt cramped.
One can walk around & select the drinks – which was a wide range.
Am definitely coming again.

The restaurant’s décor and ambiance are reminiscent of the charming cafés tucked away in Paris’ corners, evoking a Parisian atmosphere as rich as the chef’s French Onion Soup. The décor has a classic look about it, which hasn’t altered in the restaurant’s decades-long history.

L’Angélus has remained faithful to the high standard of offering excellent genuine French cuisine with courteous service. Their menu offers everything from traditional to classic French cuisine, including the best of French food.

Key Differentiators

  • French Experience
  • Fresh ingredients of the highest quality
  • Exhaustive selection of French wines

Customer Testimonial

This was my second time dining here. Really enjoyed their set lunch menu the first time. Came back for dinner and was not disappointed. The ambience in the day and evening were both lovely.

Service was just as swell. Wish I got the name of one of the waiters who was very funny on both occasions and simply a pleasure to interact with.

The food portions are generous yet maintain a French lightness to the palate. I really enjoyed the steak frites and tuna tartare. The dessert was quite sweet but quite nice too. I found the catch of the day- ocean trout – a bit too strong for my liking, but it was paired beautifully with the sauce and sides.

A lovely experience. Will be back.

The term “bar” in its name is a misnomer. The name of this full-fledged French eatery is a play on the French word “baratin,” which means smooth talk. Francois Mermilliod, who formerly worked at Absinthe, provides a wide range of seafood dishes at his casual restaurant, and supplies are purchased from ethical sources.

Simply tell them how much you have to spend and what kinds of foods you can or cannot eat, and they will take care of the rest.

In a good way, Nutmeg & Clove is as Singaporean as a cocktail bar can get.

The food at Nutmeg & Clove differs from typical Japanese restaurants in that it is very focused on eras throughout local history, beginning with our founding as a trading outpost and continuing through to the Japanese Occupation. Its décor is also quite reminiscent of yesteryear, with vintage school photos, posters, and a Chinese medicine cabinet as a bar counter.

Love this little hidden bar and how they constantly change up the menu to keep things interesting. Been here a few times and I’ve always enjoyed the drinks here. The bartenders are very laid back and have an awesome sense of humour.

I don’t remember having a single bad drink here. The bartenders always make sure to tell you how the drinks are when you order to make sure you would get a drink of your liking, which is something that speaks of the dedication they have to making sure guests enjoy themselves.

It’s not a very big place, so if you are coming in during peak hours, I would highly recommend making reservations in advance.

Was in Chinatown to run some errands and happened to park right in front of Honcho. We decided to try it out and it was such a great find! Atmosphere was great at the alfresco dining area and food was absolutely amazing.
