Visited for a birthday celebration and it was such an amazing experience. Top class service, a nice quiet ambience, and amazing wines and non alcoholic pairings! The starters/snacks were so awesome. The mains themselves were really good as well. Then, we were brought upstairs to the dessert lounge area where we were served desserts and little snacks. We were so stuffed by the end of the meal. Best experience!

Chef Simon and Bar Manager Agnes created an unforgettable experience at Fat Prince for us last night! It was truly one of the only meals I’ve ever had as a vegetarian that I didn’t feel left out in any way! Every dish was so balanced and thought through. Simple enough to casually enjoy yet played with a complex array of flavors and textures all at the same time. It was a refreshing take to many familiar ingredients that I would have never thought to pair, however, every bite was the perfect amount of depth and lightness! It was obvious that there was intention and passion behind each menu item. The ambiance is one of a kind. Trendy, moody, upscale, yet comfortable. We can’t wait to be back!

This place is impressive, from the food to the service. The burst of flavours when eating the mains is really indescribable. Some places rely on their views/ambience rather than focus on the menu and food, but Monti is impeccable in all aspects. The view, service, ambience and most importantly, food, were amazing. They told us that they spent the past 2 years perfecting their lunch menu, and I must say it was a job well done.

Went for a celebration, had a nice relaxed lunch. Kudos and thank you to the team!

Cool restaurant with two main areas centered around the bar and kitchen respectively. Drinks are eclectic and interesting – I enjoyed sipping on my Financier which had a light smokiness to it. For the food, the fried chicken, Sakura pork chop and Cauliflower steak stood out. The apple pillow pie was a sweet and fun finish. Service was efficient although some of the stuff are a bit uncertain of the menu. On the slightly pricier end but worth for a night out.

Customer Review

Had a great 1st meal here. Food was amazing. Started with the salmorego tomato soup so rich. Beef and pork pasta cannelloni was recommended and glad we ordered it. Octopus with cauliflower was very tender. Fiduea was full of umami but maybe a tad oily, still very yummy. Other reviewers said the white wine sangria as refreshing, but I personally preferred the red wine sangria. Can’t go wrong with either to be honest. Will be back again, maybe try the beef Wellington.
