1) The Coast Golf Club

The Coast Golf Club is a seaside course perched on the cliffs at Botany Bay’s entrance, where you may play eighteen holes of difficult seaside golf for a reasonable price. The cooling sea breeze that picks up along the back nine provides one of the finest views of any golf Sydney course. On several of the more difficult holes, precise shooting is critical; especially on the 15th, where high wind power into the teeth of the wind might result in a few golf balls being lost into the Pacific.

Key Differentiators:

  • Eighteen holes of difficult seaside golf
  • Reasonable pricing
  • Situated along the rugged Southern Sydney coastline

Customer’s Review:

Great views with strong winds. Which makes the course an extremely challenging and interesting course. Definitely will be back to conquer the course.

St. Michael’s Golf Club overlooks the Little Bay peninsular and is one of three golf courses sharing this stretch of land. The generous, but frequently deceptive fairways and the ever-changing influence of the sea breeze make for a hard but fair test. St Michael’s is a must-see for every serious golfer, and it lives up to the expectations of living in the shadow of its illustrious neighbor, the New South Wales Golf Club.

Key Differentiators:

  • Stands among Australia’s best
  • Ranked as one of New South Wales top ten golf courses
  • Well-groomed and equally perfect manicured lawns

Customer’s Review:

St Michael’s is a beautiful golf Sydney course kept in superb condition. The fairways & greens are immaculate but the best thing about the club is their amazing employee & member Steve ‘Gibbo’ Gibson. Steve is a great golfer, a Rabbitoh, a tireless worker & an even better bloke. The club should hold an annual St Gibbo’s day.

The Northbridge Golf Club is Sydney’s only golf course with views of the harbor and offers eighteen difficult holes that wind through enormous red gums, making it one of the city’s finest public courses. Northbridge’s small set of par threes leaves the driver in the bag. Precision on this golf course comes down to careful club selection and a tight short game, rather than greater distance.

Key Differentiators:

  • Overlooking Sydney Harbour
  • 18 hole challenge for members and visitors
  • Very friendly and convenient short courses

Customer’s Review:

Love this course. A good range of holes with different challenges. Everyone is friendly, the views are beautiful and the kookaburra’s love to watch you play. Great for a social round and I love that women are so welcome! Pro shop has lots to browse through and upstairs is a nice bistro with coffee too.

6) Bondi Golf & Diggers Club

Key ServicesWith eight par 3’s and one par 4 with views
Address5 Military Rd, North Bondi NSW 2026
Websitehttps://www.bondigolf.com.au/
Phone(02) 9130 3170
Emailcourse@bondigolf.com.au

Don’t let anything but the sound of the sea lapping the cliffs on your backswing while you play at the 9-hole Bondi Golf & Diggers Club. A buggy may not be required for this brief yet challenging course with most par threes, but worry not; from the cliffs above Bondi Beach, one of Sydney’s best views. The rough on the seaside of the course is a fifty-meter cliff, making it more difficult (the view alone makes it one of Sydney’s finest golf courses). The gale-force nor’easters, on the other hand, do their part to keep the ball in play by keeping the course interesting.

Key Differentiators:

  • Good entertainment
  • No restrictions on the course
  • With eight par 3’s and one par 4 with views

Customer’s Review:

Perfect old fashioned link-style course. Great ocean views and amazing view of Bondi beach from the 1st green and 3rd tee. Most of the holes are short but the longest hole lets you have a decent whack at the ball. Even tho most of the holes are par3 they will challenge you.

7) Royal Sydney Golf Club

Key ServicesWorld-class 18 hole Championship Course
AddressThe Royal Sydney Golf Club
Kent Road, Rose Bay
NSW Australia 2029
Websitehttps://www.rsgc.com.au/
Phone+61 2 8362 7000

The Royal Sydney, despite its grandeur and pomp, presents a stern test to both pros and amateurs. The royal course used to have one bunker every twenty meters before relaxing on the sand traps. The sand is still the greatest danger at this royally traditional Sydney golf course, which avoids any gimmicks, tricks, or water hazards. Many of golf’s aristocracy have walked the winding roads; the Royal Sydney has hosted the Australian Open on several occasions.

Key Differentiators:

  • World-class 18 hole Championship Course
  • Two golf practice areas
  • Home of the 2016 Emirates Australian Open

An excellent golf course with an attractive layout. Other facilities are likewise in keeping with high standards.

Bankstown Golf Club is a secret hideaway in Sydney’s west, yet it is frequently named among the city’s finest. The Ridge is essentially a council-owned golf course that’s welcoming to the public (you can usually play if you arrive before or after the Saturday member’s competition). It sets the tone for other courses in the Shire with its demanding and fun layout, imitating a links course while still being enveloped by native bushland. Furthermore, it has incredible upkeep; bent-grass greens and well-trimmed couch fairways have always been praised as some of the best-kept in all of Sydney.

Key Differentiators:

  • Challenging and unique links-inspired course
  • Surrounded by dense bushland and shrubbery
  • Well-maintained bent-grass greens and couch fairways

Customer’s Review:

Awesome, huge course with stunning views. Mostly PAR 4. Carts available. There is also a great driving range. This course is very well-kept. Super busy on a Saturday.
