Restoran Yit Foh Wanton Mee was founded in the 1970s. The noodles (wan tang mee) have been excellent for forty years. Mr. Lee’s original recipes have been used to make whole egg noodles, which are more elastic and flavorful than others.

The noodles in their light tan broth are accompanied with the wan tan soup and home-made char siew. Every day, all of the char siew is freshly prepared.

Restoran Yit Foh Wanton mee prepared in a more laid-back manner, with the tasty sauce sprayed all around. This wanton mee plate may appear modest, but don’t be fooled by appearances; it’s really surprisingly delicious. Ho Seng Kee (HSK) has been a Nostalgic Flavor in Johor Bahru, Malaysia for over 81 years, since 1936. It has fed Singaporeans and Johoreans of three to four generations.

Ho Seng Kee makes its own homemade noodles from scratch on a daily basis using an in-house traditional formula. The HSK has always maintained high-quality standards for its egg noodles. It’s made entirely of eggs (duck eggs and chicken eggs) and includes only top-quality high-protein wheat flour (more than 13%). There are no added colors or preservatives. There is no apparent Bitter Taste since just a low amount of Lye Water is used.
