Babes was founded as a project for pregnant teenagers who need assistance and counseling, but it has evolved into a genuine organization that assists expecting youngsters.
Volunteering at Babes is typically ad-hoc in nature and highly dependent on your skillset. All types of assistance are appreciated, whether it’s tutoring Math, writing stories, providing tech support, or planning fundraising events.

Have you ever wanted a dog but couldn’t have one?
Saturdays are the greatest days to go for a stroll with some of the Action for Singapore Dogs’ shelter canines. It’s also an excellent reason to get out and relax.
We can’t promise that you won’t fall in love with one of these adorable pups and eventually end up adopting them. On other days, ASD is also open to visitors.

I have so much respect for the wonderful people volunteering there and running the shelters. The doggies are wonderful, so many of them are plain adorable and deserve a loving family to whom they’ll give so much back. If you are looking for a dog, help stop the puppy mill business, do not buy a puppy in a pet store, they are unsocialized, come from horrendous places which tick all the animal cruelty boxes. Do your research and go to a shelter, it will change you, for the better.

ReadAble is the ideal location for volunteers wanting to promote literacy among youngsters.
They aim to develop children’s reading and writing skills through ReadAble.
The organization runs weekly readings, as well as lessons on language and the arts to help children express themselves.
You can volunteer as a tutor or sponsor school supplies by becoming a member of ReadAble. Classroom sessions are held with the aid of these items.

The Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations places the greatest importance on women’s well-being.
The campaign, which was launched in January 2019 by the Singapore Federation of Women’s Rights Organisations with strong support from the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), aims to raise public awareness and promote gender equality.
It brings together over 50 member groups representing more than 500,000 women across the country in promoting “Equal Space, Equal Voice, Equal Worth”.
For those who care about promoting feminist causes, the Singapore Council of Women’s Organizations is an excellent location to volunteer in Singapore.

Yellow Ribbon is a charity organization in Singapore dedicated to helping people who have made mistakes.
Their motto is “beyond second chances.” They want to provide ex-criminals with a second chance at living a purposeful life.
Yellow Ribbon runs programs to equip ex-offenders with the skills they need to get jobs and aid their success. They believe that everyone deserves a second chance, which is why they provide opportunities via various volunteer services.
Yellow Ribbon is a volunteer organization in Singapore that does not have any preconceived notions about who should or shouldn’t be allowed to volunteer.

For over 25 years, Very Special Arts Singapore has organized art classes and fairs for people with special needs.
The volunteer centre in Singapore is open to anybody with creative talents that they may offer and teach to the youngsters. Members get their chance throughout the entire process to show off their creativity to their hearts’ content.

The Willing Hearts serves around 3,000 meals every day to the poor and is run entirely by volunteers.
Willing Hearts helps the disadvantaged achieve a better quality of life through its ‘daily bread’ initiative, which aims to provide them with food so that they may improve their lives.
Willing Hearts also assists them in rehabilitation and integration into society.
Everyone should volunteer here at least once, simply go in and you’ll be assigned to help with food preparation, collection, or delivery.
There are others who count on Willing Hearts for their fundamental dietary needs as we anticipate our next meal.

Wonderful volunteers doing wonderful work to save lives. I am very impressed and inspired by what I saw when I went there to donate blankets and towels they were delivering to poor people overseas.
Even the security guard at the gate was very passionate and proud to be working for such organisations. I can feel his passion and his pride when he greeted me so happily and thanked me for donating.

We tend to take our five senses for granted, but can you conceive of a world without music or sound?
The Singapore Association for the Deaf strives to improve the quality of life for the deaf by assisting them in integrating into society and participating.
The deaf are helped through programs including financial aid, counseling, and employment services to live autonomous lifestyles.

I accompanied my brother who was a student of the School to get his hearing aid checked. I have learnt so much from the school technician in our less than half hour consultation and am so relieved to know that my brother is being well taken care, with his interest at top priority.

The volunteers at St Hilda’s Community Services Centre serve 13 blocks of flats in Tanjong Rhu and 22 blocks of flats in Dakota Crescent and Old Airport Road, with a strong commitment to “reaching out and touching lives.”
Door-to-door visits have exposed the difficulties of the elderly, some of whom are bedridden or unable to manage their chronic diseases.
The volunteers work to connect the people with the most appropriate services and enable volunteer doctors to treat them.

Beyond Social Services is a non-profit organization that serves the most vulnerable members of society, particularly teenagers and children living in impoverished areas.
They implement programs to decrease juvenile delinquency and turn them into responsible young people who respect the law.
The youngsters are able to rejoin society when they have social, educational, and community support programs in places such as family strengthening and community integration.
