Customer’s Testimony

I enjoyed the dim sum brunch here with my family. There was a wide variety of food, and the things i enjoyed most were the chicken rice and the laksa. I liked that the service was good, with them clearing the plates frequently, and also acceding to our multiple requests like more chicken and less rice for the chicken rice. It was also a nice touch with the dim sum trolley moving around to the tables. I liked that there was a special birthday cake prepared as i was celebrating my birthday.

Key DIfferentiators

  • Offering a modern interpretation of Japanese cuisine
  • Incorporating fresh and seasonal produce and ingredients from Japan
  • Choose from the venue’s extensive sake list

Customer’s Testimony

Japanese fine dining with a rather exquisite look and feel in Singapore. Great restaurant to dine at for special occasions. Dishes served were delightful to the taste buds. The wasabi flavoured chicken (pic 1) really stood out the most to me. The dessert also came with a Happy Birthday greeting which is beautifully written, though I must say the taste that accompanied it was tremendously sweet and lacking of any unique flavour unlike the other dishes.

Otherwise, everything is great and worth the experience!

Special mention to Tara and Anna who were an absolute joy to us. They often checked in on how we were doing and was v prompt in their service. They are really super cute to also keep asking if they could help us to take photos. Thank you crew! We are really happy to have been part of your sail this evening!

Came here for my father’s birthday celebration and he loved this place. FYI my father is a fussy Eater but he gave thumbs up for the foods here, especially the Irish roasted duck and dragon claw. The dragon claw has a rich Chinese herbs aroma and the Irish duck skin is so crispy yet the meat still maintain its juiciness. The ambience is nice and the waiter and waitress are friendly and attentive. Overall we enjoyed our dining experience here and would definitely visit here again.

He brought us through a experience inspired by his many life experiences. The team is knowledgeable and attentive. Great service! Wine pairing is well worth it as you get to taste some of the rarest wines. The French-Asian touch in my opinion is quite rare and very suited for our palate. I loved it there. The food was delicious and authentic. And the service was excellent. We started with tapas and then shared a paella. Very good. To round things up we had a flan which was light and not too sweet. The ambience is very special and romantic.

Came for the 2022 New Years dinner feast. The staff here are incredibly friendly and considerate. The place has great ambience with the very high ceiling and nice interiors.

The food was a mix of western and Chinese dishes, personally I prefer their French dishes a bit more as it’s their speciality.

The food quantity was extremely plentiful with multiple platters to share

It’s not often that you can go to Singapore and claim you’re fleeing the city, but drive or take a bus ride into the quiet outskirts near Seletar Airport, and you’ll discover deserted fields, lush tropical vegetation, and The Summerhouse, a new restaurant, bar, and cafe built inside a colonial-era Royal Airforce Bungal. Customer’s Testimony

Chef Simon and Bar Manager Agnes created an unforgettable experience at Fat Prince for us last night! It was truly one of the only meals I’ve ever had as a vegetarian that I didn’t feel left out in any way! Every dish was so balanced and thought through. Simple enough to casually enjoy yet played with a complex array of flavors and textures all at the same time. It was a refreshing take to many familiar ingredients that I would have never thought to pair, however, every bite was the perfect amount of depth and lightness! It was obvious that there was intention and passion behind each menu item. The ambiance is one of a kind. Trendy, moody, upscale, yet comfortable. We can’t wait to be back!

Customer’s Testimony

Went out for new year/birthday dinner for our first time here. Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was excellent. Environment was relaxed and cosy. Menu wasn’t what we expected (based on name) but the flavours were totally on point and everything was perfect. Husband told them it was my birthday and the surprised me with a delicious chocolate tart and caramel ice cream dessert. The only disappointments were in the orange wine (never had t before, won’t ever again yuck) and timings. We had many different plates but felt a bit rushed through the meal and would have liked to take our time a bit more, especially given the occasion (New Years and birthday).

Great ambience and cozy. Food was amazing. As mentioned by many other reviews, the portion isn’t a lot. However, the portion is good enough for you to be able to try out other dishes they have. Service was top notch! Shout out to Miles for going above and beyond for my birthday. And shoutout to the bartender wearing a fedora whom I did not catch his name. Drinks was unique and of good quality. Would go again soon!

I brought my fiancé here for her birthday dinner, the ambience and the quality of the food is great – but what makes the entire experience so pleasant and memorable is the service of a particular staff, Roland.
