Highly recommend this place. Enjoyed every course that was served, it was quite a flavour adventure. Staff were pleasant and service was excellent. Loved the dessert so much I even asked to order extra to take away, which they happily obliged and packed everything nicely in vacuum pack and plastic container. Very well done. I brought home and kept it frozen for few weeks. Still tasted amazing when I ate it few weeks later. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Jeff’s Cellar is a restaurant in Ipoh Malaysia that was named after the chairman and founder of Sunway – Tan Sri Jefferey Cheah. The Cellar is 10,000 square feet and it had to be air conditioned due to the humidity which tends to be high especially when functions are being conducted. The other reason is that it is located close to the hot springs.

The Cellar is divided into 3 areas: The Lounge, Dining Area and The Bar (which is located at the highest level in the cave). Also, the limestone cave is believed to be 260 million years old which is examined by a geologist based on the formation of the stalactites and stalacmites. At Jeff’s Cellar, you will definitely have a ‘wow’ dining experience!

Some says it is on the pricey side, but totally worth it. I would recommend 2 person dinner or not more than 4 person. Enjoy the food and have a good catch up time with your friend or with the love one. The espresso is one of the best in town that I tasted.

Atelier Binchotan is a Barbecue Bistronomy restaurant run by the husband-and-wife team of Lau Ka Hong and Celine.

The character and philosophy of their culinary style, which is based on the original technique of cooking with binchotan charcoal and the aromatic scent of the smoke, naturally restricts the number of people that they can serve without losing its flavor.

Because of this, Atelier Binchotan’s seating capacity is limited to 12 people per dining session, which surrounds the open-concept grill. Before moving on to A3 Japanese wagyu, sample the rich taste of their Spanish Iberico pork ribs or pork collar.

Atelier Binchotan’s tiny burgers of barbequed pork patty sandwiched with gribiche egg sauce are not to be missed.

Binchotan JB is a restaurant from the same group that brought you Sushi Shin in Johor Bharu, and it is well worth your time.

Despite being the “baby” of the group, it would compete with restaurants of comparable quality in any culinary center (Binchotan JB opened in February 2021). It might be difficult to locate Entier French Dining in the Alila Hotel at Bangsar, but it’s well worth the effort. The restaurant owes its popularity to the hardworking team behind Platform Hospitality and a Japanese chef who is both creative and thorough.

It’s not unusual to see Masashi Horiuchi, who studied with chefs such as Joël Robuchon, peeking into the dining area from the kitchen. Every night in this little yet cozy environment, magical culinary magic happens as diverse ingredients combine to create unforgettable meals.

In one of their inspired dishes, Iwagaki oysters mingle with Tanjung Malim caviar, and corn dines in a delicious menage-a-trois with parmesan cheese and black truffle in the regular corn dish. The A5 Wagyu and Rice–swish this delicate loin cut in beef stock around lightly for a completely satisfying experience.

Hoshi is the Japanese word for “star,” and it certainly lives up to its name. The restaurant’s atmosphere is dark, cozy, and sexy, with bar-style seats surrounding a polished stainless steel avant-garde kitchen that has been likened to an industrial truck stop. On the far wall’s upper part, a vibrant, colorful painting depicts the flora and wildlife of the Desaru coast.

I choose the Kengyuu set with four signature dishes, one tempura, and nine premium nigiri sushi from the menu. The ikura and peas chawan mushi are exquisite appetizers. The tuna tartare is yet another delicious dish; the blended tuna contrasts wonderfully with the piping hot fried paus.

Following that, there are nine sushi meals, all excellent. The dishes were prepared in a beautiful glass bowl filled with sea shells and local leaves to give it an intriguing ambiance.
