I left out an item from the bundle meal set and they were very nice to call me up immediately to add back the missing item. The delivery came on time, the raw salmon bowl is fresh, rest of the food arrived warm and tasty, plus the service is good nonetheless. Highly recommend to anyone who craves for a good wholesome meal!

It was such a delightful dinner for our family and our first time trying it. The lobster porridge is honestly such a big portion it could feed 5 to 6 people with some side dishes. It tasted even more divine the next day when we heated it up, the sweetness of the broth really soaked into the rice grains and I just could not get enough of it. (cont.)

There are plenty of family-friendly restaurants across Singapore, but it’s not always easy finding one that has ample space for the kids to roam around! With a fully-equipped sound system for private events, and uber-delicious grub. That’s why we’re excited about Picotin Express, a spacious spot in the East Coast and Bukit Timah serving a wide range of hearty and wholesome European dishes in generous portions.

Whether it’s a cosy family dinner, a monthly meet-up with friends, or a private party, Picotin Express is well-suited for various occasions. By highlighting alternative cuts, this steakhouse deviates from the norm. The flat iron beef cut comes from the side of the shoulder and is know as the feather blade (hence the restaurant’s name). Dining tables are covered with dishes that have rich tastes and leave you the option to enjoy the meat without spending a lot of money. Order the sinful potatoes, which are deep-fried in beef fat and served with truffle butter, to add more to your meal. Don’t forget the beef-inspired cocktails like bak kwa martini, which is made with beef jerky.

Key Differentiators:

  1. Highlighting alternative cuts on their beef
  2. Dishes are infused with intensed flavours
  3. Try their beef-inspired cocktail

Client Testimonial:

The steak is really delicious and the foie gras is soft and melts in your mouth. They were kind and nice to extend my timing as I was running late. Definitely a nice place to have a meal. Would have been even better if there is a surprise complimentary dessert or drink as we were celebrating our 6 years together.

When a restaurant is located within the National Gallery, one of Singapore’s most magnificent structures, you know it’s something special. Then add three Michelin stars – as well as other accolades – and you’ve got yourself a winner. Step inside Odette, the exquisite fine dining restaurant run by chef-owner Julien Royer, which is known for its cutting-edge French cuisine. Dishes are far from precious, since each relates a narrative and every component has a specific role. Plus, you can’t overlook the magnificent interior, which is complemented with alluring pastels and includes a glass-enclosed kitchen for guests to view the chefs in action.

Superb service and food. The servers were all so knowledgeable about each dish, and also they really try their best to cater to dietary restrictions (we have someone pregnant and someone who can’t take lactose) by replacing the dishes with something else. Presentation of food is on point. It’s seriously a super filling meal and great experience. We had the $378++ indulgence menu, and added the $128++ lobster ravioli.

A restaurant dedicated to Gastro-Botanica, a term coined by chef Jason Tan to describe his reverence for botanical ingredients; one where vegetables, fruits, herbs, spices, and even flowers take centrestage.

What’s more, while certain dishes may seem uninspired at first glance (such as the ham-and-cheese croquettes), they’re prepared with a botanical focus and served in a thoughtfully designed space with foliage-filled feature walls, onion motifs (a homage to Jason’s favorite vegetable), and plenty of natural light.

Look out for onions in all of your favorite places, peeping out from unexpected angles. The wall design’s scales are hinted, and coasters are designed to resemble the bulb-shaped vegetable.

  1. Uses botanical ingredients
  2. Unexpected dishes prepped with a botanical focus

A contemporary Korean restaurant that is a homage to memory, with chef Louis Han’s personal journey incorporated into the cuisine and ambience.

Everything is inviting and well-built, from the top to the bottom. The menu changes every few months in an episodic style. The new selection will include meals that take inspiration from the Korean mountains – warm, invigorating, and hearty.

The uni somyeon, slippery and salty; as well as the charcoal jujube dessert are all highly suggested.

Key Differentiators:

  1. Feels homely and well-constructed.
  2. The episodic menu switches up every few months
  3. Charcoal jujube dessert is highly recommended.

Client Testimonial:

Spectacular taste bud adventure and journey here at NAE:UM! It’s best described as a dance party in your mouth, with every dish hitting a home run, starting from the snacks to the last item which left a wonderful lingering aftertaste – having you crave for more. Love the strong flavors and my ultimate favorite would have to be the Somyeon! Would recommend that everyone gets the Somyeon (if available). I would think that NAE:UM is almost Michelin ready – but not after a bit more fine tuning. Looking forward to ‘Episode 3’! Awesome journey Chef Louis Han and team, keep going strong with your creativity!

We visited ART last weekend to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We opted for the 7 course ‘omakase’ menu ($228 per diner) and was blown away by the artistry of the plating and the rich, strong flavours of the Italian cuisine – just perfect for a celebratory meal. Despite the obviously small portions of each course (typical of many fine dining experiences), we were very well fed at the end of dinner

Do check out the foyer area which offers an unblocked beautiful view of the Marina Bay Sands in the distance.

A “love letter” to India, it bills itself as a “cinematic restaurant.” Why do we enjoy it? This beautifully dressed establishment promises to be a sensory delight. First, take in the beautiful surrounds. The cuisine is a stunning reinterpretation of Indian classics, with recipes changed and experimented with in order to retain the familiar while still creating something new.

Thoroughly enjoyed my evening here. The hostess that brought us in was very friendly and helpful. The service staff that attended to us was also very hospitable – he gave us a tour of the different rooms and even took a Polaroid keepsake for us! The food, ambience and level of service lives up to the prices

This Japanese-style patisserie, which is only available on a reservations basis, serves up delectable pastries. There are no cake stands or elaborate showcase displays, and the menu does not include photos of its desserts. Customers must rely only on the description – and their own imaginations – to order their sweets. To add to the effect, each is meticulously made to resemble a tiny work of art.

Get three to four desserts as a taste of the patisserie’s selection.

Key Differentiators:

  1. Japanese inspired patisserie
  2. Each dessert is prepared to resemble mini works of art
  3. There are no cake stand or fancy display cases

Client Testimonial:

Falling in love with this dessert place ❤️

The establishment is part of raffles hotel premise. Reservation is needed, won’t be able to walk in. Felt a kind of serenity without crowd, queue and even signboard.

We decided to go for the set and try some of everything. The portion is bite size, would recommend 2 pax to order 1 set and add on other cakes. You will have to order cakes in advance to avoid disappointment. Ready made cakes aren’t always available.

All pieces are exquisite and I like that is not sugary sweet. One can truly appreciate each piece’s distinct taste and flavour.

My personal favourites are white peach mousse + corn and lychee mousse + truffle potato mushroom. Would love to visit again to try all cakes and next seasonal set.

Went back again following week to try all cakes. They are just as good

The eatery with one Michelin star is known for its gleaming plates in a cuisine that adapts to the seasons. However, the experience isn’t at all stuffy or formal. The open kitchen within the simple area encourages interaction with consumers, and chef Ivan Brehm draws inspiration from a variety of cuisines and cultures to breathe new life into familiar tastes. The chef’s tasting menu at Kurobuta includes Hokkaido scallop and pumpkin, as well as pigeon marmalade, all of which may be matched with a bottle of red or white wine or sake.

Key Differentiators:

  1. One Michelin-starred restaurant
  2. Minimalist space and interior design
  3. Must try unique dishes

Client Testimonial:

Had dinner at Nouri. Food was great here! It was quite a culinary journey as the chef prepared and introduced to us food from all over the world. Not common expensive food, but from remote lesser know places of the world. The pigeon was definitely the star dish here.

Service was wonderful as they tried to accommodate my wife’s food allergy at the last minute.

It is the first Sri Lankan restaurant in Singapore offering a full range of services.

Rishi Naleendra from Cloudstreet brought you this recipe, the chef leans into his heritage to prepare a flavorful, spice-scented speciality inspired by Sri Lankan street food. The eatery’s name, meaning “fort” in Sri Lankan Tamil, pays tribute to the country’s Portuguese, Dutch, and British roots.

Key Differentiators:

  1. Flavourful, spice scented meal inspired dishes
  2. First full range Sri Lankan restaurant

Client Testimonial:

Extremely pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food they serve here. Never expected much of Sri Lankan food. Some people find it spicy, but I personally think they’re alright. Prices are reasonable, service is quick and lovely, location is smart (at ground floor of Wanderlust, a legitimate hotel, in the middle of a rather messy area).

Portions are generally small, but don’t underestimate them. If it’s the first time for you as well, you order some mains, either seafood, meat, or vegetables; and you have them with a hopper, which is a fluffy pancake / thosai look-alike.

The yellow curry of sea bass is brilliant, as the curry sauce goes very well with the fish. The lamb curry is comforting and satisfying. The wambatu moju (eggplant) went really well with the other curries. Lastly, the chicken kottu (the server explained it to be like murtabuk with chicken) was mind-blowingly simple and good. Corkage is 1-for-1, or $50 a bottle.

Overall enjoyed ourselves very much, despite the 2hrs sitting limitation.

  2. Contemporary menu concept
  3. Sri Lankan curry with Hokkaido king crab is a must try.

Client Testimonial:

The overall dining experience is one of the best I got in Singapore. Try the mocktail pairing with the meal. There was so much effort and though in its preparation that makes it so much more interesting than just having the meal with wine. Food presentation and preparation was almost flawless.

The world’s first, and only, Michelin-starred Peranakan restaurant.

It’s no easy task to be the only Michelin-starred Peranakan chef in the world, but with hard effort, a passion for his heritage, and unyielding devotion, chef Malcolm Lee was able to accomplish it. He cooks his dinner from recipes handed down to him by his family.

If you’re unfamiliar with Candlenut cuisine, start with Lee’s Taste of Candlenut menu ($78/lunch, $98/dinner).

Key Differentiators:

  1. World’s first Michelin-starred Peranakan restaurant.
  2. Lee’s Taste of Candlenut menu is highly recommended.

Mott 32 is a chain of Chinese restaurants with several locations throughout the country known for its cutting-edge cuisine.

At Mott 32, dining is a lavish and sensual experience. The richly adorned space – with peacock chairs, modern furniture, and apothecary drawers to lend it a sexy allure – begins as soon as you enter. Food is equally dramatic, with premium ingredients such as the renowned applewood roasted duck ( $108) cured and marinated for more than 48 hours.

Given the small quantities available each day, advance reservations for the coveted bird dish are strongly advised.

Key Differentiators:

  1. Creative Chinese Cuisine
  2. Expensive and sensual dining experience
  3. Use premium ingredients

Client Testimonial:

The food and service is marvelous. Have been here twice and they never disappoint. Really appreciate how the staff treats every guest equally for a fine dining restaurant. Truth be told I don’t eat duck, but this is the only restaurant in Singapore where the duck does not have gamey flavour.

Highly recommended to dine here for celebrations too, as they do provide complimentary desert for the occasion you are celebrating. 🙂

This eating area is inspired by the shared history of two childhood pals and is a creative fusion of old and new.

Modern cuisine’s roadmap is frequently strewn with new experiences. However, chefs Alex Phan and Glen Tay return to their youth to inspire the menu. Indonesian cuisine has been reimagined with tastes of sambal octopus, jazzed-up fish soup, and more.

Add some Ave87 tea, an herbal brew with floral notes from chrysanthemum, rosebuds, dried longan, and candied winter melon made by itself.

Key Differentiators:

  1. A modern dining experience
  2. Local flavours turned to feature flavours
  3. Try their Ave87 herbal brew.

Client Testimonial:

Food was excellent, service was superb. My friend and i shared the Christmas menu and a regular lunch menu. They made sure we had our own platter each time so we could sample from both, and took notice to change the platter regularly. Excellent quality of food for the price! At the end, the Christmas menu was entitled to a free gift, but they offered the gifts to both of us. Very sweet of them. Highly recommended!! ⭐

Labyrinth combines well-known Singaporean dishes with innovative new flavors in a progressive new direction, earning it a spot on the Michelin Guide’s one-star list. It is this innovative spirit that has placed it on the one-star list of the Michelin Guide. You feel as if you’ve fallen into another world when you enter the cozy, dimly-lit chamber, and the cuisine takes it a step further. Chef LG Han pays homage to the Little Red Dot by using locally sourced items transformed into delectable dishes like chilli crab ice cream and (not your common) kampong claypot chicken rice. Chi – keh-tee is the name of this lovely Italian eatery, which is one of the select few to succeed at making both pies and pastas. Start with a selection of small dishes before tucking into the wood-fired pizzas, including varieties like diavola and quattro formaggi. Are you hungry? The gnocchi’s rich truffle flavor is delicious. Complete your dinner with the delectable “crack pie” to end on a sweet note, and if you find yourself ordering another, remember that you’re not alone.

Key Differentiators:

  1. Italian inpired cuisine
  2. Wood-fired pizzas
  3. Gnicchi is a must try in this restaurant.

Client Testimonial:

We’ve been going to Cicheti for years and really love the food. We enjoy all of their dishes and I would absolutely encourage you to give the restaurant a try if you’ve never been there. The meatballs are good. The prawns are good. The pastas are maybe a little hit and miss. But without fail, you must order a pizza or two. They’re Neapolitan style and absolutely delightful. Despite what some reviewers say, I would not consider their menu to be authentic Italian in the sense that this is not what Italians consider Italian food, but even my Italian friends concede that the pizzas are top-notch, some of the very best in Singapore. It is a small place so do book ahead. It’s totally worth a visit.

The various tastes within each dish complement very well with one another. Chef was very friendly and amiable too. The waiters were very interactive and informative about the food ingredients. They also gave useful instructions on how to eat and consume the food for the best enjoyment. This is my second time here and the experience is just as great, if not better.

Salted and Hung’s chef Drew Nocente is a strong advocate of the nose-to-tail trend, which is evident in the restaurant’s menu. He uses grilling, pickling, and curing on the discarded elements of animals, from skin to entrails. It’s all about reducing waste! Everything is delectable, innovative, and most certainly not for the faint-hearted.

Key Differentiators:

  1. Nose-to-tail movement menu
  2. Chef Drew Nocente incorporates grilling, pickling and curing parts of animals.
  3. Cuisines are flavourful, creative and not for picky eaters.

Client Testimonial:

The place is a definite curiosity.

If you appreciate artistic theatre and how childhood shapes our current lives you’ll appreciate this place with the tasting menu.

Lovely food and atmosphere. Nice place to bring your partner too for a quiet night of surprise and romance.

The Australian food concept is also interesting and off the beaten path. For the adventurous who wish to try something different.

It’s also something of a bright spark among the sea of Italian, Korean and Japanese fare that litter the streets in town.

Someone mentioned there were long pauses in between dishes I believe the tasting menu is as such. It’s to give your palette time to settle and cleanse between the items.

You can always talk to your partner while you wait.

Chef Drew himself came out to check on us and we thought he is so sweet and honourable. The staff are very kind and attentive too. Efficient at the same time.

Thanks for a splendid evening.

Artichoke is a laid-back, no-frills pub where you can get your grub on. Finger-licking food and good vibes abound at Artichoke, which is just the kind of place to have a great time. The most unauthentic Middle Eastern restaurant in Singapore – chef-owner Bjorn Shen’s opinion – serves delicious dishes that are great for shared dining. The Middle Eastern restaurant, Saffron Orange Café has a long list of unique and delectable dishes for you to try. Hummus and tzatziki are served creatively, Syrian skillet eggs are available, as well as the signature ‘lambgasm’ slow-roasted with spices… And there’s more. Before the night is over.

Key Differentiators:

  1. Good for good time dining experience.
  2. Least authentic Middle Eastern restaurant
  3. Laid-back pub

Client Testimonial:

Amazing bread. We had 3 bags. Hummus was so good. Mushroom skewer was seasoned and done perfectly. Great relaxed ambience and friendly staff… highly recommended.  Never had real Middle Eastern food before so can’t tell you if this is authentic but all I can say is that its really very good

This Aussie-style, modern barbecue place is frequently included on top lists for carnivores. Expect a mouthwatering barrage of delectable meats cooked in hot ovens. We’re talking about lamb chops, beef tenderloin, and the popular pulled pork brioche sandwich, of course. The contemporary kitchen serves new dishes on a regular basis, ensuring that you are always delighted upon your next visit. The joint, on the other hand, is always crowded; so make your reservations far ahead of time.

Key Differentiators:

  1. Aussie-styled modern barbeque spot
  2. Open concept kitchen
  3. Make a reservation before visiting because it is always packed.

Client Testimonial:

Great food and great service. Their beef is so delicious, other dishes are also superb. I highly recommend their Chef’s Select menu. Alcohol choice is great as well. Also I love the decor and the old school vibe.

One minor bad thing: we had to hunt for reservation for 4 months and when we finally got it we still had to wait 10 minutes outside in the heat. But it doesn’t taint the overall great impression, and they are moving to bigger place soon so it should be easier to get a reservation.

In the trendy Tiong Bahru area, a gluten-free casual cafe.

Why we like it It’s difficult to come up with a gluten-free meal that is completely devoid of items. It’s even more challenging to create a menu that doesn’t seem to have any gluten in it. The Butcher’s Wife, on the other hand, has been doing so with a tasty cuisine that makes use of fermentation methods. Sip on homemade kombucha while munching on hearty goat cheese, gnocchi, and wagyu picanha made in-house.

Key Differentiators:

  1. Gluten free casual cafe in Tiong Bahru.
  2. Uses fermentation techniques in its menu.
  3. Try their homemade kombucha

Client Testimonial:

Went out for new year/birthday dinner for our first time here. Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was excellent. Environment was relaxed and cosy. Menu wasn’t what we expected (based on name) but the flavours were totally on point and everything was perfect. Husband told them it was my birthday and the surprised me with a delicious chocolate tart and caramel ice cream dessert. The only disappointments were in the orange wine (never had t before, won’t ever again yuck) and timings. We had many different plates but felt a bit rushed through the meal and would have liked to take our time a bit more, especially given the occasion (New Years and birthday).

Overall highly recommend, will definitely return.

Another one of our favorites is the high-end nasi lemak that’s well worth the hefty price tag.

You know a restaurant is doing something right when it still attracts long lines of people every day despite charging $14.80 per dish and selling foods that are generally valued at $2. The Coconut Club’s nasi lemak is a flawless example of a Malay classic. Rice is flavored with coconut milk from only one farm in Sabak Bernam, Malaysia.

Key Differentiators:

  1. Expensive price
  2. Premium Nasi Lemak
  3. Try their Kueh Platter

Client Testimonial:

The standards are still as great as before – in terms of food quality and service. Coconut rice was really fluffy and fragrant. Definitely not your usual Nasi Lemak rice which can be pretty oily. Heard their coconut milk is squeezed in house as well! Portion is also just about nice. Chicken breast was amazing with a tinge of lemongrass and turmeric. Rendang was my absolute favorite. Very tender with aromatics of coconut, chiles, and spice. Great balance. Special shoutout to fantastic staff Fifi for being such a great host. Friendly, entertaining and extremely helpful. Thank you! You made a huge difference to our dining experiences!

The food at Bar Ristorante is lighthearted, delightful to eat, and absolutely mouth-watering, like the pappardelle dish with prawn and lobster heads that makes an intoxicating bisque-like sauce.

Key Differentiators:

  1. Partnership between a team of chefs and Thailand’s property developers
  2. This restaurant will give you a taste of Bangkok’s super rich cuisine
  3. The food is delicious and fun to eat.

Client Testimonial:

Client Testimonial:

Amazing meal with great food and service. The corn bread at the start of the meal was served warm and it tastes really good! The oysters were fresh and plump but slightly too salty for my liking. The beef was really good and the restaurant portioned it out for us as 2 of us was sharing it. The clam chowder was slightly too thick but it tastes nice. Scallops were very well cooked and the coleslaw was crunchy and refreshing. Crab cakes were good too and I could taste the real crab meat in them. For sides, we got lobster mac& cheese and I liked that it came topped with biscuits which gave it an added crunch.

Sink your teeth into a platter of exquisite wagyu beef at this renowned (and pricey) Japanese steakhouse. Fat Cow, nestled in a inconspicuous spot, is recognized for offering guests a taste of Japan’s greatest beef from various prefectures, including Ohmi from the Shiga prefecture. 2. This restaurant is known for giving the taste of Japan’s finest beef
  3. You may customise your dining experience

Client Testimonial:

Had an omakase meal and the overall experience was fantastic. The ambience of Fat Cow and the interior setup were great. Upon entering, you were warmly welcomed and ushered to your seats by the waiter/waitress. They were great at introducing and having small chats to make you comfortable.

Chefs were great and clear with their presentation of each dishes. Little do I need to say, every dish served were fantastic (dish with beef definitely a mind-blown). We were fully stuffed.

Aside from its inaccessible location, the food and service overpowered the fact that you definitely have to give it a try.

The Swiss company is decorated with quirky cuckoo clocks (a homage to its name), pleasant lighting, and oak furniture, as well as serving classic food. The cuisine, like the ambience, is on point. Client Testimonial:

I had made dinner reservations for a table of 4 pax. I requested for a nice indoor table. We were punctual and promptly escorted to our table which was lovely. The menu is quite elaborate and we were really lost and spoilt for choice. We requested the host to help us choose some dishes. We ordered a bunch of items – the original Swiss fondue for 2 pax, half meat platter, Rosti with ham, cheese dome, a bottle of nice red wine and we ended with a deliciously sinful chocolate fondue. To be honest we were completely stuffed with the amount of food we ordered and managed to finish all the food. The bread was nice too and the flavour of the melted cheese was amazing. We felt like we were in Geneva enjoying delicious swiss food. We would love to dine here again. The staff was super friendly and nice to us. 10/10

For the food, the ambience and the service.
